haha, from the looks of that picture, seems like you narrowed down your choices significantly :). what are you painting??

i realized how vague i was being once i captioned it but didn’t know what else to put so i left it. ;p

we painted the wall leading into the laundry/craft room (the wall with the clock, cat picture, and trivets on it). it’s a fun yellow color (hello yellow!) because i suddenly wanted a yellow wall. but, once we painted it, i decided that i didn’t love it and we even started despising it so, we are going to paint it back sometime this week. :o

we also bought some darker gray paint and drew/painted a little city skyline silhouette in august’s room. it’s pretty fun. we’re keeping that, though. :)

    gonna’ call you soon!

there is a giant difference on a wall color when it’s under artificial light as supposed to natural light.

    example #1 – my kitchen / dining/ drum/ computer area.

we looked at the swatch in natural light as well but, in this case, there was also a big difference between a small color swatch and a whole wall that color. it’s lookin’ too country living around here. august, on the other hand, just noticed it today and has been enthusiastically asking when and how we did that and telling me he really likes it. i already told him we’re making it white again so he doesn’t get too attached.

        oh august!

we too have been toying with repainting our house. but more importantly, re-doing our kitchen! by. ourselves. CRAZY!
